Hi Steven. I agree that you cover the important ones and I really like your free option. I just did some calculations to see if I could justify a swap:

Ubetoo:
Annual fee $63.70
Unlimited albums/singles
100% Royalties up to $650 (then 75%)
My royalties/year: $200 minus annual fee $63.70 = $136.30

RouteNote :
Annual fee $0
Unlimited albums/singles
85% Royalties
My royalties/year: $200 minus 15% = $170.00

This means that I would benefit from using RouteNote until I reach annual royalties of $425. Although saying this, it won't be long before Ubetoo starts taking 75% (at $650) so RouteNote would be quickly become more profitable again.

RouteNote premium would cost me $235 upfront (4 albums, 1 ext album, 3 ep, 1 single) and then 89.55 anually so that wouldn't be an option... yet... and with the puny royalties Spotify offer I'd have to rely entierly on iTunes and other digital shops.

I see on your retail partner list that there are "only" 7 partners and even though they are the most important ones I feel that the other hundreds of digital stores I'm in now could be useful for additional exposure even if they don't lead to many sales.

My Ubetoo renewal is due any day now and I think I'll do a trial run of RouteNote with an Imphenzia Soundtrack (game music) album to see what the interface is like and to get a general feel for the service.

We would love to have your music on RouteNote.. I know you made the point that we dont reach as many stores as other services.. and at the moment thats correct. However, the stores we do reach cover more than 95% of the digital music market. Thus, all those other stores are just a waste of time.

Payments from distribution is made every 3 months. They should/will show up under "View Account" at Ubetoo and royalties from digital stores/distribution look like this:

2012-01-30	PRISMA - SEY4Y1123702 - MERLIN BV (3)	0.0072	36.33
2012-01-30	PRISMA - SEY4Y1123702 - AMAZON DIGITAL SERVICES, INC (2)	1.0720	36.32
2012-01-30	PRINCESS AT THE GATE - SEY4Y1123601 - MERLIN BV (6)	0.0270	35.25
2012-01-30	PRINCESS AT THE GATE - SEY4Y1123601 - MERLIN BV (6)	0.0282	35.22
2012-01-30	NOSTALGIA RETREAT EDIT - SEY4Y1124002 - iTUNES SARL (1)	0.3434	33.70

I think one of the "MERLIV BV" payments are from Spotify but it's not possible to identify. Other ones are more obvious, such as Amazon Digital Services, and iTunes etc.

I'm with ubetoo and I've not tried anyone else, but my gripe is the fact that you are unable to find out how many downloads you have, ie, I can't look into itunes etc, and find a count for my downloads. I have purchased my own music from amazon/itunes/ubetoo etc, and never recieved any royalties, so it does make me wonder!

Now I am twenty-five years old and I must thanks my boyfriend that make me known this song. I want to play at the piano this song, only for him. Can you help me with the piano sheet, please?. Write me soon,Thanks =) Viky

Hi Jeremy, since there is interest - I will tidy up (wash) the scripts and publish them on this blog - I'll see if I can get it all sorted tonight. I'll probably publish it as a new blog post but I will link to the new post in this one as well.
